Reviews and Ratings
The service was friendly and helpful despite some delays in attending to requests. The location is convenient for various attractions, but the dining experience was average. The facilities are adequate, but there are limited available power sockets in the rooms.
The hotel had new and good quality rooms, but they were too hot requiring opening windows which led to traffic noise. The rooms smelt musty and stale and were on the smaller side. The service was friendly, efficient, and very helpful, especially in the bar and restaurant. The location was great for easy access to Exeter but next to a loud main road. The dining experience was good with plenty of choices but a little disappointing. The facilities were basic but adequate for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The room was great, and the food service and general assistance were superb. However, the rooms were a bit too warm, and the fact that they were not made up unless requested was a downside.
The hotel rooms are fitted out to a very high standard, offering everything one could want for a short stay or as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Being on the downstairs floor, I found the accessibility convenient, and I would have been quite happy to stay for longer given the cozy atmosphere. However, the location on a busy road could be a downside, and without a car, it may not be the most convenient option.
